The Role:

As the Head of Banking & Payment at Flowie, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of our financial products and services. Your expertise will be crucial in developing innovative payment and banking solutions, enhancing our ledger systems, and ensuring our financial operations are robust, scalable, and compliant. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with deep experience in fintech who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building next-generation financial systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for Flowie’s payment, banking, ledger, and finance functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business goals.
• Product Development: Lead the development of cutting-edge payment systems, banking services, and ledger solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and the broader market.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the payment, banking, ledger, and finance teams, ensuring efficient, secure, and compliant processes.
• Innovation: Drive innovation in financial product offerings, identifying opportunities for new features and services that will enhance the customer experience and generate new revenue streams.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all financial products and services comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, managing risk and ensuring the security and integrity of financial data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, legal, and compliance, to deliver integrated financial solutions that support Flowie’s broader platform.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in payment systems, banking, ledger management, or financial services, with a strong track record of leadership and innovation.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of payment processing, banking operations, ledger systems, and financial technology, including familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans for financial products and services.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Education: A degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MSc, etc.) is a plus.
• Language: Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
